Wait...I think I remembered it wrong.

He didn't die from cancer But from Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. It is a progressive disease with a high death rate of 1/3 (by medical term this means per year), most people die within 2 to 3 years, He fought for his life for more than 10 years.
Moreover, the doctors mistaken it as regular asthma, he was being treated wrongly in china for a year and a half at the first time.
