Screenshots taken with the modded enhancements on 1.19.4. Please keep reading for more information about the enhancements.

Do you like the color blurple that Discord uses? Did you ever wanted to experience Minecraft in that color even if it makes everything look samey? Well, I got the perfect resource pack for you!

Idea by CaptainGame17. Made partially because Discord's 5th anniversary was coming up when I made this, and for the people in the Project Blurple server (which this got featured in).

Most of the blocks, entities, armor, art, and other visual effects have been blurplefied. However, some things, such as some particles (looking at you redstone), banners, shield patterns, leather armor, and more are still in their original color. This is because vanilla Minecraft only allows for so much; I cannot do much beyond what I have done.

The modded enhancements add-on is a resource pack made for people who are willing to use mods - either Optifine (for Forge) or Vanadium/Colormatic (for Fabric) as of right now. These add-ons make water look much better and fix various other issues with coloring that I cannot fix with vanilla Minecraft. If you wish, download this and put it above the normal pack.
(Note: Vanadium/Colormatic does not support coloring the loading screen, and so doesn't this resource pack for Fabric, sadly - Optifine will get a colored loading screen.)

1.18+ uses the new blurple Discord uses. 1.17 and below uses the old blurple as they were made a while ago. Little support will be given to older versions, and no versions for older Minecraft versions will be made anymore - 1.8.9 was an exception, and likely will be the only exception.

This pack is mostly complete; I'll probably do some minor adjustments to fix what I can still fix in the future. Otherwise, enjoy a blurple wonderland!

10 Update Logs

1.20.X Revision 1 : by AstreaTSS 05/10/2024 6:56:44 pmMay 10th

Updates have been made for 1.20-1.20-1, 1.20.3-1.20.4, and 1.20.5-1.20.6. 1.20.6 is listed as the most recent version on GitHub, but scroll down to find the others. These are based on commonly used 1.20 versions, so sorry 1.20.2 fans.

- Basic updates to 1.20. Nothing major to note, honestly.
- Colormatic support has been removed. Use Vanadium or Optifine, although grass seems to render incorrectly with Vanadium.
- Modded tweaks have been adjusted so that grass actually respects biome coloring when it is enabled. This results in a slightly different look compared to previous versions.

Hey, it's me, the owner of this resource pack! Went through a name change and all, but you know.

Anyways, while this pack was dead, I decided to revive it for this year! There won't be any "old blurple" versions from this point forwards - upgrading to 1.18 and using the new blurple is already going to be hard as is, and maintaining another version for seemingly little reason doesn't appeal to me, even if I still do prefer the old blurple.

I'm hoping to finish this before the Project Blurple server goes up this year, but who knows.

Yeah, leather is a pain in the butt to do (the values for it are hardcoded I think, and while it is possible to use Optifine to edit them, that'll take a while), and so probably won't be done anytime soon.

Make sure to use both the Optifine and normal pack. The Optifine one is more of an add-on than it is its own thing.

Also, 1.8.9 support was added - I'll be announcing it in a few.
