A pack that brings some of the textures from modern Minecraft and also has new, custom-made ones for almost everything added in BTA.
Textures from similar blocks that are found in modern versions aren't backported but instead the textures from BTA are redrawn to look modern yet faithful to the originals (there are a few exceptions tho... at least they will be for now)

  • Almost every block got updated
  • The colors in the misc folder were tweaked to fit with the modern color palette. The colors of the redstone dust were also tweaked, making them into a nice subtle gradient of bordeaux, red and orange
  • Mobs and mob variants were updated as well. Most ported textures were edited to fit the different UVs from beta. (So no more cows with backwards butts)
  • Tooltips also received some small tweaks
  • Steel stuff was given a subtle purple tone to make it look colder and more interesting.

This pack ONLY works with BTA, normal beta 1.7.3 is not supported.

Each sign icon in BTA is a different texture, there's no unicode involved

When you make a signs you can choose the icon that it uses as background

oh , it's a texture pack for a mod ? idk how I didn't realize that

but I think that is doable in vanilla with a font texter pack that changes emojis . it just would be messy if the icon wasn't in the middle of the sign
