Ok, You Could Probably find the packs to do stuff like wood changing on stuff like Grindstones or Crafting Table Scripts to be able to learn about it, cause I Like the Biome changing packs lol

In order to change the names of the items, simply go to assets>minecraft>lang and open the .json file there with notepad, notepad++ or whatever text editor you have, then you can do Ctrl+F (find and replace), type in clay, and then change the items individually from there.
