I saw a creeper costume floating around on Hermitcraft, being used by Grian and Scar for some good pranking, and decided it would be a fun quick project for me to create into a small texture pack.

Two things



Hermitcraft released the resourcepack from the last map in their map file and it has this creeper and the walking ones they used too



You can load a cem model with and import it into a block model to not have to remake the model

I never saw that pack! I’ll have to go check it out, I’d love to see how they animated the walking one, I wonder if it was put in as a block model or something else.

I actually found out about that cem plug-in a couple days ago, it was unfortunately after I’d already recorded this, but I’m using it now. I’m still learning a lot as I go here, but that was definitely a big help for more intense projects.

It does not need Optifine! It should be able to work in vanilla!

Sick! also on a different note, do you have any experience in changing the particle colors that entities or mobs give off, specifically, im trying to change the glow squids color of glow and ink, but well, it isnt as simple as changing a texture appererntly

You definitely need Optifine for that. I would guess something to do with emissive textures, I don't know about ink but that should work for the squids themselves
