    The model doesn't show up in hand but it does in my inventory.

    Instead it shows the literal png file.

    I am on 1.15, is there something in the file I should change?

    Open the texturepack, there you'll find a json file named "pack.mcmeta". You open this file and edit the pack format 4 to pack format 5. Just change the digit to 5.

    Sorry, I wasn't clear in my earlier comment.

    I'm trying to make a 3D model for the bow when it's renamed using Optifine's cit system.

    The pack works fine on its own but when I try to implement is with optifine the model doesn't show up in my hand, just the .pngs but the model still work fine in my inventory.

    Since this isn't they way you meant to use the files I understand if you don't have a solution.

    Hey Zoom, can you show me how this works? I've been trying to make a custom bow model, and currently have two models (standby and pulling_0), but the pulling_0 animation should work. I'll send you the code if you need it. Please help!
