Of course! But yeah, usually if you're just modifying texture packs for yourself or for friends it's fine, most people just have problems if you actually upload the pack publicly. That being said, I abandoned this pack and left it open, so you're free to do that too! (Sorry for the late reply)

Optifine glass compatibility is automatic with Optifine, it should already work :)
