i just used a pack that did not need optifine so i think its that im using the boosted brightnesss mod sry for any trouble

and i make texture packs myself but when i checked in the optifine folder it did not have anything that would make it glow in it

also i got shot ingame when the skeleton image popped up and i heard lava (it was just fire dont worry)
