This texture pack makes Minecraft feel like a pixelated dystopian survival game. Set in a futuristic survival wasteland, with steampunk influence, while maintaining the natural survivalist feel of Minecraft. Pixel art made by myself, inspired by the original Fallout, The Enchanted Cave, and Spelunky. This pack is now 100% complete for Minecraft Beta. It works for Beta 1.7.3 and earlier. Has been lots of fun to create and use for myself. I think it keeps gameplay progression very new, but still intuitive and interesting. It has a certain dark feel which is perfect for Beta Minecraft, and you will definitely encounter stunningly beautiful in-game scenery.
I hope you enjoy playing!

OptiFine is recommended for the water and lava textures, but if not installed, everything else will work just fine!

Please! If you have any advice, recommendations, questions, or anything at all, please feel free to comment and let me know! I am happy to update or upgrade this texture pack if any ideas are requested. :)

Still operating on Beta Minecraft, Added more detailed textures overall, added more realism to all blocks and items, fixed item visibility in inventory, checked allignment of items in inventory slots, added brighter colors for almost everything, colors look less dull, brighter more metaly metals, custom FuturePunk mobs, custom items, everything is more uniform and consistent, more visible and saturated paintings, cleaner sharper tools, fixed item outlines to look better, particles look consistent, oak leaves have an autumn tinge, different types of wood are their own textures, new mobs, added Steampunk Steve and the zombie counterpart, removed old clouds(they weren't working) fixed water and lava, to see custom textures for LAVA and WATER you must use OptiFine.

8-19-24: Statistics icons changed, removed ugly paintings, added old style renaissance art, changed bubbles in GUI, doors and trapdoors match wood more, fixed piston texture, text on signs more readable, more texture consistency among materials, added custom FuturePunk logo for the title screen, made many blocks/items more steampunk including TNT, rails, and minecarts.

9-8-24: Changed brightness and contrast of many blocks, more accurate glow for bright items, fixed armor overlapping, turned the stone and iron hoe into a sickle(it's cooler), bread is more of a croissant, fixed mossy cobblestone being too dark, spawners are dark red, snow grass is snowier, bricks more reminiscent of alpha bricks, sponge is less blocky. Other improvements to many items including redstone dust, ingots, cake, sugar, clay, fish, leather, book, ink sac, armor pieces, and glowstone dust. Other improvements and minor updates to many blocks including wools, birch logs, spruce logs, ladders, signs, bedrock, pistons, jukebox, cake, glowstone, sand, and lapis lazuli block. Updates to mobs include giving steve green goggle lenses, darker more realistic sheep, fixed pig brightness. Added custom FuturePunk Mojang loading screen, texture changes for a higher quality GUI for the options screen and hotbar.

10-18-24: Removed purple lava, and polluted water, attempting to make scenery look more natural and clean. Fire still remains purple. Replaced these colors with more natural colors. To accommodate the change in color, also adjusted color for lava and water bucket textures, rain, and water particles. Adjusted inconsistent grass sides, changes made to achievements screen.

10-31-24: Happy Halloween! More visibility when you wear a pumpkin on your head! Changed sheep eyes to be more visible, better outline for boat item texture, added more detail to larger art, added the Mona Lisa painting, added the 2x4 cloudy orange scenic painting, better customized block breaking pattern, made arrows less bulky again, edited the Mojang loading screen, slightly smoothened the title screen background cobblestone for better contrast, added transparent player background for the inventory screen.

12-15-24: FINALLY added a custom font, inspired by Pixelated Regular by Greenma201 and the Serified Font by bebebea_loste, big visual changes made to all GUI interfaces including sepia-colored slots, extra details, separating bottom inventory in chest and furnace screens, furnace unused space removed and gradient added. Added a new pack.png art, changed TNT texture, changed block destroying pattern again, taller wheat, more rustic bed, minor item changes to lighter, bed, arrows, sugar cane, green dye, and yellow dye.

2-9-25: Makeover of the title screen. Old title screen logo files still in the texturepack title folder. Appearance more vanilla-like, with dirt background and custom FuturePunk cobblestone logo inspired by the old beta title screen logo.

5-6-25: Very slight item improvements. Fixed alignment of items including bonemeal, sugar, and fishing rod. Edited outline for bonemeal, and map. Fixed saturation for bonemeal, egg, obsidian, spruce leaves, and raw fish. Finally, added a custom allitems.png for the creative gui. This can be seen if you use a mod that allows for creative mode.

6-12-25: Edited glowstone texture to appear more as a lamp rather than lightbulbs. More of a golden hue of light rather than a bright white color. The goal was to texture glowstone in a way that does not stick out too much, and fits nicely with other blocks.

1-6-26: Removed nasty slimey neon colored grass! Foliage colors more consistent with surroundings now. Made a lot of detail changes to block textures like grass block, tallgrass, cobblestone, sandstone, obsidian, birch logs, pumpkins, jack o' lanterns, trapdoors, chests, farmland, wheat, spruce saplings, birch saplings, both mushrooms, cobwebs, sugar cane, sponge, and some others you honestly wouldn't even notice. Changed all previously purple fire to orange. Changed default Steve skin to parka Steve, +herobrine, title screen logo back to original.

I might someday. It would take a little while to draw all the new textures, but I can see it happening in the future.

Yes I DO. I started it back in 2011, just finished it last week. Completely forgot about it for a while. Some people like me still play beta 1.6, and texture packs still work. It's a great version of Minecraft I have a lot of memories playing, and you can easily try it for yourself if you want.
