Hardcore Mining

Hardcore Mining is a texture pack that makes mining more challenging and realistic.

Mining is made more challenging because the player can no longer rely on exploring caves to find ores as much, and will be required to do more strip-mining.
Mining is made more realistic because ores are not immediately visible, but might be found after some stone is broken open.

This pack replaces all the game's ore textures so that ores are either identical or nearly identical to the surrounding material.

Please keep in mind that there are two versions of this pack, and this is the default - you can find details at the end, and a link either through this post or my profile.

In the default, or easier version, all ore textures are replaced with a stone (or netherrack) texture that has been (very slightly) changed, as though it contains (more) minerals.

Notes:
- The pack is lightweight by design, so it will work well with other packs and load quickly.
- You will not need to unzip the file.
- This pack will be updated when 1.17 is released to accommodate the new ores (Copper, Deepslate Ores).

If you run into any issues please let me know so I can fix them.

The Extreme version of the pack changes the stone (and netherrack) textures as well, so the difference between ores and the surrounding materials is not subtle, it's totally nonexistent.
