For the font to work properly you need to have Optifine installed.

The premise of this is very simple. I wanted to make a texture pack for older Minecraft that commits to the undeniable medieval art direction without straying too far from what feels like a "old Minecraft experience". Also I was dissatisfied with inconsistency of some of the textures, for example;
-bow and fishing rod now have a white string,
-shears are fully iron,
-arrows have flint head and bow is ready to fire,
-craftable dyes have potion-like containers,
-cake item is more squared,
-bone is more bone-like,
-color of gold now looks more like real gold (the texture stayed the same, only colors changed),
-armor now looks much more reasonable,
-door now look like something a medieval people would make (the palette stayed the same, only model changed),
-ladder has now less steps,
-food looks tastier and more medieval-like,
-pistons don't have white spots so they look more like tables (when used as tables),
-snow, sandstone, cobblestone and few other blocks are more seamless with just a very few, almost unnoticable pixel changes,
-wild animals are no longer farm animals,
- minecarts now no longer magically hoover above the rails; they now have wheels sticking out,
-etc. (check update logs for more info).
While I tried to not edit textures as much as other packs do. Some of the the edits may seem controversial and unforgivable to you, meaning they stray too much away from what Beta Minecraft should feel like and that's a perfectly valid response. This is just what I personally feel is immersive for the game.
Main inspirations for this pack were:The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall
Heroes of Might and Magic III
Some paintings come directly from these games.
Should work with all beta versions but the main one I was working with was 1.7.3. Also I tested some alpha ones and it works there too!
If you have any ideas on suggestions that you would like me to add or change, feel free to message me here, I'd be glad to hear from you.
Enjoy!

Have something to say?
Siento que NO es como el minecraft actual que es muy "realista" por así decirlo. Y ya no se siente como el minecraft que yo recuerdo.
