Sick of seeing that tacky armor covering your beautiful skin you worked hard on? Well here is the solution. This texture pack removes Netherite, Diamond, Gold, Iron, Chainmail, and Leather Armor textures from the game without changing anything else. Horse armor is unaffected.

This texture pack affects ONLY the image files of the armor and as long as Minecraft doesn't do some large overhaul of their armor files. This pack will continue to be compatible with all future versions of Minecraft and all previous versions.

Just checking in. Looks like the pack removes headwear and most outerwear accessories from any characters made via the Minecraft Bedrock Character creation / Wardrobe / Profile. Have a player that wants to make some some horrendous, if not diabolical fashion choices from the character creator, and while they can see their skin, essentially all their accessories were removed. Works perfectly on classic skins though. 10/10
I've attached pictures at the google drive here. If I am as the kids say, "stoopid", please guide me great sage. Will provide firstborn in compensation.

I did some research to see if I could fine anything that would help and found the exact problem. Accessories take up the Top Layer of a person's skin which is the same layer that armor uses. Whenever you equip anything (armor/elytra/pumpkin/etc) it overrides the Top Layer with that instead. The only way you'd be able to change that is through modding but it doesn't seem like anyone has figured out a way to do that yet.

I could be wrong because I don't own Bedrock Edition and I also don't mod Minecraft so my terminology will probably be off but it seems like outerwear accessories share the same slots as armor pieces on your character's skeleton (if that's what the game engine uses) so whenever you aren't wearing armor it shows the accessories but once you put a piece on, it overrides the accessory texture with the armor texture to prevent possible clipping. Since texture packs only supply the game engine with images to wrap over models, the only way you'd be able to display outerwear accessories while wearing armor was if you modded the game to remove whatever "tag" is on armor that registers that it's being worn by the player which tells the game to disable whatever outerwear accessory shares that same slot.

I don't own bedrock edition so if you download the one I linked and let me know if it works for you I'll change this page to use that one instead.

You just have to double click to open the texture pack while Minecraft is open and it should automatically import itself. If you need a visual guide this guy shows how to do it starting at 1 minute in the video.

Is there a way to adjust this so it only makes specific armor invisible? For instance, If I want the armor I am wearing to be invisible but not the armor on a displayed armor stand to be invisible? Thanks so much!

Unfortunately armor stands use the same textures to display armor as players do so it's not possible to make the armor only invisible on players. The workaround another person using the pack did was delete the iron and gold armor texture files from the pack so he could display iron and gold armor on stands around his base while still having his diamond and netherite armor invisible.
