Nice idea, I have seen alot of other people try to bring the nether to the normal world with texture packs, yet this is done alot cleaner then most I have seen. Keep up the fantastic work. :)

Your trouble with glass and sandstone might be because of MCPatcher. Same thing happened with me, and when I forced an update, it worked.
