What this pack is
This is a simple pack that replaces iron swords and diamond swords in to 3d handheld knives (same one as my ka-bar pack), replaces bows with a 3d modelled handgun, and replaces arrows with bullets. Images and sfx used are creative commons licensed.
I did this to try and give a fun little twist to the murder mystery gamemode- removes crosshairs for more realism, but when you aim a bow, it gives you an accurate ironsight aim instead. Very similar to fps games. This is a RESOURCEPACK and *NOT* a mod, to be clear. Bows still function as they would in vanilla.
I made this for 1.8.9 because that's what is most commonly used for minigames and pvp type stuff.
Optifine required.
Usage
Feel free to use/modify/redistribute this in any form of non-commercial project, as long as you credit me in some way.
Misc
This is by no means an efficiency pack. This may even make murder mystery harder to play- the goal is to give it a more realistic aesthetic. The fact that this pack contains no custom block/entity/etc textures makes it easy to overlay with other texture packs you're using- mix and match for fun effects.

The downside though is that the aiming is a tiny bit shakey, which IMO you could just pretend it's like your character isn't very experienced with guns.
Are you saying you'd like a bow to 3d ironsight rifle resourcepack though? I could definitely make one if you'd like. Be sure to include what version though because different versions cause the ironsight aiming to glitch.
