This resource pack aims to clear that one parity issue with java and bedrock where some blocks dont have shading in them.

This pack is for java edition, not bedorck edition, not the other way around



Personally i dont like the bedrock edition shading, but if you do then feel free to use this. It should also work with other resource packs if it is on top of them, but i havent really tested that.

also, if i forgot something, tell me in the comments as i tend to mess up a lot of things i do

Wait sorry, like I tried it and it didn't work. I've been looking for something like this since i don't like the default texture lighting

I think the Bedrock version makes much more sense, because the block itself gives of light, shadows can't be cast on it. How did you make it? Does it use OptiFine?

Actually no, its vanilla. There is an option to disable shading in the block models and i just ticked that in the light sources
