THERE IS A NEW VERSION WITH 1.20 WOODS!!

So basically I was curious how far off Minecraft is with real life. So I went to the Wood Database and looked at the woods, and I came up with this:

Oak → Apple
Dark Oak → Brown Apple (any wood can be "brown," which means infected with fungus)
Spruce → Norway Spruce
Birch → Silver Birch
Acacia → Australian Blackwood (Acacia melanoxylon)
Jungle → Amazon Rosewood (because of Game Theory)

can you please remake the normal wood types in this style. i think it looks cool, but don't like using texture packs that change things massively

What made you decide to make the Acacia Australian Blackwood? The acacia trees in Minecraft look like the ones from an African savanna, and the savanna biome reflects this also. Wouldn't an african acacis species make more sense?

Good question. Basically I couldn't find any good pictures of african acacia, so I went with australian acacia :/ I don't really have any other reason

SO GOOD but spruce wood looks really too much as birch.. would give it a darker tone. really phenomenal tho
