This is a texture pack that aims* to replace the bow with a gun. (*See what I did there?)

Optifine not needed.

First of all I want to clarify that all teh "'Merica" jokes on this submission are in good faith. Even tho I personally don't like the idea that my neighbour can own a devise able to delete me I have no intentions whatsoever to be political or be hurtful towards Americans.

So why ad a gun to Minecraft?

Minecraft has long been considered a kids game by many. Why would anyone dare to add such a devilish device? The game clearly didn't need a gun so why add it?

Well the answer to that is complicated such as all things in life. Thus I want to make my response to this imaginary argument simple and concise. We begin with analysing the first documented case of rules being used in society in ancient Mesopotamia. Ancient Mesopotamia (modern day Iran and neighbouring countries.) Was the first society that we have evidence of having writhen rules. The reason we know they had rules is because of ancient inscriptions that let us decipher the first recorded case of the writhen rule. I won't bore you with the details so it pretty much boils down to an eye for an eye.

But what does this have to do with adding a gun to Minecraft? I will come to that eventually.

Analysing "An eye for an eye" is crucial to understand the events that brought us here in the first place. This is because it shaped all rules that would come after it. For example there's a little know religion called Kristanety that has "The golden rule" that basically boils down to if you want people to act a certain way to you act that way to them. See the similarities? These rules separated by thousands of years of human development are still nearly the same. The only mayor difference is that "Eye for an eye " focuses on what others do to you and thus how you should act while "The Golden rule" focuses on what you should do for other to act accordingly. Thus we can clearly see the influence there.

So what has this to do with adding a gun to a block game? Well if we can see these similarities between thousands of years of rulemaking we should with ease see them between different platforms. Thus I want to turn our attention to the second amendment that states that citisense of the United States of America have the right to bear arms. But see here's where the previous rules come in because guns aren't unregulated. Even in the USA you can't just go round shooting willy nilly. (Well you can but you will be sent to jail and it's cuite frankly a dumb idea.) This is because of other laws and legislations that essentially cary out the messages of "An eye for an eye" but adjusted to fit in the modern setting.

So my only reason for adding a gun to Minecraft is to show the fairly recent development in engineering that I wanted to carry tryout different platforms, just because rules also carry over throughout history? No Not att all. I added a gun to Minecraft not because of patriotism or because I thought it would be funny. I added a gun to Minecraft because the law allows me to. There was no other reason for spending 2 hours redesigning a couple of pixels. I did it because I could, and now It's time for you to do the same.
