couldn't u use the 16 x texture pack and give it no texture so that it takes the texture of the texture pack?

i have no idea what you just wrote, but if what you're saying is "why don't you make it use the compliance texture instead of making your own", it's because the head shape and uvs are completely different and there are added stuff
