Optifine is needed for the Named-only version to work


Wolf armor I made for Pewdiepie's dog. But you can add your own names to the list, here's how:

1- Download the Named-only pack, open it and go to assets\minecraft\optifine\random\entity\wolf
2- open wolf.properties and wolf_collar.properties
3- on both files change "name2" to the name you want it to be
4- if you want another one then change "name3" and so on

This resourcepack works thanks to the wolf having a different texture when it's tamed. Cats don't have that. So if I did make a cat armor resourcepack it would have to be only for optifine and the cats would need to be named, otherwise all cats would have armor and that wouldn't look that good.

It doesn't have cat armor, just cat clothing, you can make it so it has clothes using the collar texture, but the reason you cant make armor it's because the collar texture changes colors depending on the dye. you cant have iron or gold or diamond on it because it will have a color put on top of it by the game. On wolves you can bypass this having the non colored part of the armor on the wolf texture and the colored part on the collar texture, that's because wolves have a separated texture when tamed, if i did that same thing with cats, every wild cat would have the non colored part of the armor and that would not look good at all
