for anyone having problems with it looking transparent and glitchy, go to options>video settings>quality, and turn mipmap levels off in the top left corner

doesnt work with all 1.16 optifine releases, pls fix. Also the item in the hotbar is dark and squished, idk if its supposed to be that way

It works with the newest version, OptiFine 1.16.3 HD U G3(even though it says incompatible). If it's broken, it's a problem with optifine or maybe your settings. I also can't do anything(that I know of) to make the item in the hotbar not appear darkened. That's just how models appear in your gui for some reason. It also doesn't appear squished.
