The Minecraft Pack v1.3.2 (last updated 2012-09-23)
Mostly uses content from SEGAo /SONICo Genesis ROMs etc.

[1] Get the latest OPTIFINE (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/249637-132-optifine-hd-b3-fps-boost-hd-textures-aa-af-and-much-more/ ). (MagicLauncher highly recommended). NOTE: Without the features that Optifine/mcpatcher provides, HD, Animation, CTM, Custom Colors, etc., certain textures won't display properly, also this texture pack makes use of Animated CTM, the latest optimine supports both these features and more.


[2] Download Texture Pack ( http://www.mediafire.com/?aondj8kdx7d1wwh ). put the archive (don't extract) into %appdata%/.minecraft/texturepacks folder.


[3] (If you already set a custom skin) To use Sonic skin from the texture pack, use Offline Mode


[4] Then just select the SONIC Texture Pack and you're done.


[5] For best appearance, set brightness level to maximum in options.

Those of you with less powerful hardware may wish to try this version instead.
Difference between this and the normal version:

• Animations are not included (except for water, fire, lava and portal).
  
• Fewer CTM textures (only sandstones, glass, big tree wood, and bookshelves).
  
• Possibly faster.. but not as much fun.
