it would theoretically be possible but it would be time consuming to do so (which is why i haven't regularly maintained it). unfortunately my desire to not leave old versions hanging takes a back seat to Work and Other Real Life Stuff. in other words; I want to but honestly chalk it up as a hard maybe

in theory, the addons should work across all versions since there are so few textures changed. afaik, the red netherrack add on should work for 1.8.9 since the filename for netherrack doesn't change from 1.8.9 to now. try it and see? the only reason it says it might be incompatible is because the wrong number is in the pack.mcmeta file; don't worry
