Original toad model, textures and sounds by Nintendo, I only ported it and made variations, some of these were adapted from the villager textures, originally made by Mojang.

What is this?
This is a resource pack that replaces the villagers and zombie villagers with toads from the Super Mario franchise.
This resource pack replaces models, textures and sounds.
You can also change the language to "English (Mushroom Kingdom)" to replace the word "villager" with "toad".
You NEED Optifine for this to work.
It is meant to be used on 1.16.4, but it should work on any version from 1.14 to the newest snapshot just by changing the number of the pack format in pack.mcmeta

How to install:
Download this resource pack (and Optifine), then place it on the resourcepacks folder found inside .minecraft, enter the game, press ESC, then make sure you have custom entity models turned on, open the resource pack options, select this resource pack and it should start working.
Known errors with no fixes:
No changes to the wandering trader (motive: optifine does not support custom models for the wandering trader)
Armor and hold items don't look right (motive: no way to change the position of the items and model of the armor, even with Optifine afaik)
Toads show floating items when a trade is available (motive: no way of changing the positions of the items afaik)

Planks - Decoration Blocks (original from New MarioCraft for 1.16 in Bedrock Edition)
Polished Granite and Prismarine Bricks - Ground (granite - overworld, prismarine - underground)
Mossy Cobblestone - Underwater Ground Block
Strider - Goomba
Turtle - Koopa
Zombified Piglin - Buzzy (with custom model)
Chicken - Spiny (with custom model)
Phantom - Lakitu (from SuperMarioCraft)
Vindicator - Hammer Bros. (from Super Mario World 1.16.2)

Also needs optifine due to Zombified piglin chicken and phantom, for 1.16.4!
also the unchanged textures need to be replaced with the ones from Minecraft - Super Mario Bros. Edition 1.16 by BWGLite (except the grass block and dirt, these blocks use SuperMarioCraft Textures)
