This resource pack adds numerous more Spawn Egg textures based off the ones added in the 25w08a snapshot! It is meant to show the visual differences of each mob. The way to obtain these eggs are through /give commands with specific Component Data.

To easily use the commands, I recommend using MCStacker to quickly create and copy/paste the commands in-game.



This resource pack only works in Java snapshot version 25w08a (1.21.5) and onward! Please do not use in 1.21.4 and below!


Terms of Use
You cannot use any of my original assets or resources for commercial use

You can redistribute my assets in your own resource pack as long I receive credit for it in a credits.txt file within the resource pack and on the page it is being hosted

You can use this resource pack within videos or live streams, however a link to my profile would be appreciated

Will you make a 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 backport with Modded Omelet compat? I would love to add this resource pack to my 1.20.1 modpack.

It's impossible to backport this mod as the feature it relies on to work doesn't exist before 1.21.5. Sorry.

Mod compat may be something in the future but don't count on it.

Thanks. I hope there's a 1.20.1 datapack or mod that adds missing spawn eggs (Giant, Illusioner, The Killer Bunny, etc), maybe Vanilla Backport could have the command-based spawn egg textures.

Looking at the FAQ its said that technical changes (such as Item Components) (The thing making my pack work) aren't planned for the backports unfortunately

I found out that you can make custom spawn eggs with its own texture using KubeJS. Can I use your resource pack for my modpack?

Maybe you should made a Mod that give a NEW inventory pack that can take THE eggs instantly,instead of a Texture pack that DIDNT EVEN WORK!
