hi! I'm back with another resource pack, a CIT pack, which adds timber framing!

with this pack, you can make better medieval or rustic houses!

timber frames include...
Timber frame list
  • Plain timberframe

  • Framed timberframe

  • Crossed timberframe

  • Double crossed timberframe

  • Side framed timberframe

  • Gate timberframe

  • Horizontal side framed timberframe


I might even make stripped timberframing too

the timber frames will support any resource pack, so still worry not!


BTW, just rename an oak or spruce log to "<timberframe type> timberframe" on an anvil on an anvil and put it on an item frame! an invisible item frame resourcepack is recommended

    • Made the crossed timberframe into a right and a left (now you have to rename a log to "right" or "left crossed timberframe)
    • Added acacia & dark oak timberframes! (still more to come)

    what part of it doesn't work? if you're saying that placing the timber frame on an item frame it's displaying wrong? if it's that I'm fixing it right now

    I hate how I can't download the older version of the resource pack, not to hate on the creator though- just saying that.

    I'm thinking about updating this pack soon. the next update might have stripped timber frames, but idk if it will or not

    I really love the concept of this pack, but as someone who does a lot of interior work, I hate that it shows through the other side. It's all glitchy looking on the inside because it's competing with the block. I know creating these is not easy, to say the least and I appreciate all your hard work. It might not even be feasible, but if you could make it not show on the inside... this pack would be amazing

    I think I know what to do now. I'll try making the frames a half a pixel instead of 1 px
