It changes the entity texture, item texture, and item name.

This was done per request of mrcreeper__.

Notes:
-This will be updated for 1.17 (but only the version, as there won't be any necessary content changes).
-This pack is very specific, so it will work well with other packs and load quickly.
-If you run into any issues, please let me know.

This is just a texture pack, so unfortunately not. Something like that where a game mechanic is altered would require a mod or datapack.

That's kind of what I did, but it might be easier with different software. What would you recommend that can palette swamp (more) easily

for palette swapping I use https://pixlr.com/e/
It's not technically for pixel art, but if you import the vanilla texture, click on the fill bucket tool, adjust the tolerance to 0, then turn off anti-aliasing and contiguous, then you can swap all of one color at a time
