How did you use a file mirror?
It could be very useful for my texture pack.

press upload on that website, choose your texture pack, and after it finishes uploading press copy link. then you just upload the texture pack on planet minecraft and while you are setting up the uploaded texturepack it will say mirror and paste the link into there and you officially have a file mirror! :D
BTW it is not a noob question.
I would get it, but optifine crashes when I play on a server for some reason.
