All infested blocks are solid, which means neither transparent nor solid overlays can be added as they would cause z-fighting.
That's why I gave them a custom model to add the overlay directly to the block (not on an outer layer cuz it would have shading glitches), but you can't edit the texture beyond that, or you'd have to change the entire model :c
This texture pack will work perfectly for versions 1.17 and 1.18, just ignore the warning that will appear when you try to activate it, if you want to remove that warning, you can edit the "pack.mcmeta" file and change the number "9" to an "8" for Minecraft 1.18 or change it to a "7" for Minecraft 1.17!
