Level 49 : Master Slime Tamer
Hell has started to invaded MineCraft! The world of MineCraft is being turned into a a nightmare, all sorts of hellish creatures have been showing up to earth... And there is only one explanation. The odd portals you have been seeing around the world, could this be where these exploding flying skulls, zombies and skeletons are coming from?

This texture pack is based on the game Doom. Doom 2 specifically. Anyone who plays this game and loves one of the best, if not the best classic first person shooter then you should like this texture pack. Huzzah! It is now updated for snapshot 12w26a.

My Hell on Earth pack has not been updated for an even longer time, this is due to the fact that its my secondary texture pack and quite frankly its not as good.

- Changed the cocoa bean pods to the skull keys, small pod is yellow, the medium is orange and the biggest is red.
- Cleaned up the jungle tree sapling and spider webs
- Changed stone and cobblestone to grey stone ( as well as all the blocks with minerals and ores)

- Animated : Still and flowing water, still lava, fire ( the default flowing lava works well so I didn't feel the need to change it)

- Changed colour of nether portal
- Fixed the trees textures as they were blurry
- Blazes are now non suicidal Lost Souls that are found in the Nether
- Title screen changes
- Minor texture touch ups and fixes

- The End is now textured, this includes :
The end stone, portal, eye of the ender, the dragon and the dragons crystals

- Changed the bow from a plasma gun to rocket launcher
- Changed arrows to rockets instead of the plasma shots
- Changed the arrow pickups to rockets as well
- Changed the map

- Got rid of a green pixel showing up when mushrooms are selected
- I didn't like the birch tree texture as it was just a place holder, they are now grey ash birch trees

- Villagers are changed to Doom marines
- Iron golems are now tamed Mancubi
- Nether portal has been changed once again.
- Changed the decorative sandstone again, much more fitting than previous texture.

-Pistons have been changed
-Pumpkins have been changed to Pain Elementals
-The jukebox is now a computer terminal, records not changed yet as they already resemble cds or discs anyway
-Note blocks have been changed
-Nether Wart has been changed
-Some of the dirt has been changed
-Newer sandstone blocks have been changed
-All the wood has been changed so there are different colours that should correspond to their respected tree type.

-Mushrooms are now changed
-Wolves wild/angry/tame are all changed to a Demon ( I made a mix of the Demon from the original Doom and the pinky that appears in Doom 3 as I saw it more fitting for it to be four legged.)
-Jungle Trees are updates, they now look like masses of vines creating the trunk of the tree.
-I have replaced the char.png (default character skin) with my own made Doom Marine skin, the same one you can find on its own page.
-Redstone lanterns have been changed

-Corners of the barrels ( tnt ) were bothering me so I fixed them.
-Buckets also contain the right colour of fluid ( forgot to change the item gui when I changed the water/lava themselves.)

An unexpected update. I have just looked into changing the nether portals as this is something I always wanted to do but wasn't sure how to go about doing it.

- Nether portals are changed
- Water and Lava have been changed from sludge and blood to water and lava ( using the doom textures)

DONT WORRY Blood and sludge will be used for the lava and water in the next texture pack, when I considered the theme and atmosphere each pack was supposed to portray I decided that they are more fitting the way they are now. (you will see what I mean when Hell Comes to MineCraft.

The final update for the exception of when I fix the gui to my preference.

- Change the sand, now is less offensive to the eyes
- Changes leather and gold armor
- Changed the title logo and the gui
- All the paintings have been changed and the problem with the lines in them is fixed.
- TNT blocks are now replaced with the explosive barrels
- Other various little adjustments.

The next update will hopefully have skin replacements for Creepers and Zombie Pigmen. Possibly the rest of the armor. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have updated several things :

- The Endermen are now Imps, Zombies are now Former Humans, Spiders are Arachnotrons and Cave spiders are pale cave ridden Arachnotrons.

- The bow is replaced with a plasma gun as well as arrows being replaced with plasma shots.

- Various Items have been updated such as the Armor, weapons, arrow pickup. Buckets now contain the right colour of liquid.

-Change background in menu.

If you are referring to the goat head, that is the Icon of Sin which is the last boss of DooM 2. I haven't taken any imagery from any other games other than ones from the DooM series.

Wow! That's looking real snazzy! The Redstone lantern looks like the sides of the blue glass don't reach the edges totally. Let's see if we can't animate some of them textures eh? ;) *downloads...*

When you think about it, it seems about right. In Doom you see nothing of other Marines other than dead bodies scattered all over, maybe the marines in this texture pack take after those Marines. According to that they don't have long to live lol

That's actually what it was in the early version of the pack. If you pm me your current email I could send you the pack with the green sludge in it instead of water when I get around to it.
WHAT I WISH u could do SO AD PLEASE! hear me out! PUT THIS TEXTURE PACK on the XBIOX! try to create all of this for that if u are able too PLEASE! and ALSO if u can do a BACKPACK MOD! create the DOOM backpack of AMMO for us PLEASE! and THANK U SO MUCH! for creating the animation of my FAV GAME for a pixel game like MINECRAFT! u r AMAZING! make different armor of Space Marines also for the armor and ur gun be a Plasma Gun if u can! or SUPER Shotgun

Not sure what you mean about the backpack mod, but I'm not a modder as I have no idea how to do it for this game( I don't write code for games or do any programming if that's involved.) As for the ammo, plasma gun and armor it is in the texture pack. The bow is the plasma gun that shoots plasma and the arrow drops from enemies are plasma cells. The armor is also changed, The Iron is represented by the green armor in Doom (100%) and the diamond armor is the blue armor from Doom (200%) The leather and gold armors are just re-coloured as red and yellow armor don't show up in Doom (single player anyway)
The Xbox version is not going to be enable to use texture packs or skins as Microsoft are stingy about uploads on the system ( but I have read that it will be possible in the future) If this is the case I will easily transfer this pack onto the Xbox if it is within my power as that would kick ass.
You can also download a Space Marine skin that I made as well, the link is on this page! Hope you enjoy and keep and eye out as I still update this pack.
O and also last question. those robot thingas that protect the villagers. and ther villagers also. is there anything u can think of for them? im trying to think also wat would be cool fro them. make that robot look more DOOM robotic future style. and for the Villigers. idk wat u could do...maybe make them random peaceful looking aliens. NOT avatar blue people thowe! lol lol something thowe! lol jk

ALSO 2 more questions. do u mean that the leather armor and gold is just wat ever color? can u make it something atleast? i know when i play co op i see a yellow and red marine color skin. atleast make it like that if u can please! or make up somethi n with ur createtivity of it like a UAC light armor looking style. and LAST question. r u able to texture the Dragon? if so make him look like The Icon Of Sin! that would be BADASS!

As a long-time DooM fan of almost 14 years, I look forward to seeing this texture-pack updated. This texture-pack is the best DooM texture-pack out there, and when I found it I almost cried because of how awesome it is. Keep up the good work BlueSlime, you're the best!! I use this texture-pack for my server and recommend it to anyone that's ever been a fan of DooM!

Possibly the best comment ever! This just made my day. Keep you eye on it because I don't want this one to die. I usually update after a significant amount is added, or if its a major release. I may change some more of the mobs and whatnot, I just need to come up with something that is fitting for it.

As I mentioned in the description I won't be updating until the 1.3 update so that there is a significant amount for me to work on, as opposed to having to update it every time a snapshot or minor update occurs. This way when I do update, people will hopefully be happier seeing more content changed rather than a block or two each little snapshot or 1.2.whatever update. I may just add in the missing default textures so that there are no invisible blocks, but they will also be changed to Doom textures when 1.3 comes out.

I know what you mean, I've just been trying to think of stuff thats worthwhile the change or add... I may update the ender dragon, but to make it work I would have to take an enemy from Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil. Otherwise I'm still open to suggestion.

I've looked into that too. Problem is though, the walls are 1 block = 2x2 MC blocks. You'd have to arrange the textures so that they don't look like you're twice as tall!

woooo doom! I played it like 100 times.I play it now too, but mostly on mobile phone (n900) and multiplayer on PC (skulltag and zdoom, still someone online). First time I played doom ultimate on sega saturn :)

i remember almost all of the cheats too like idspispopd is noclip(doom1) idclip=noclip
idbehold(a letter) for stuff, idfa=weapons without keys etc :D

nope, that will crash the game because idclev is for 1-32 levels only unless its the ultimate doom for the "dis" level also there is a cheat called idmus that changes the music

I was also wanting to do an Adventure/survival map based on Doom using this pack. I'm not familiar with MCedit or anything so I'll have to read up and mess around with it to figure it out. Can't be too hard. So it may be a project for the future.

I was surprised to see there wasn't one on here yet. I always wanted to do a texture pack based on one of my favourite games but most of them were taken, surprisingly Doom wasn't done so I messed around with it at first with no intention of posting it.. but its turned out pretty good so far.

Thanks, subscribe and upvote! :) it will motivate me to keep updating it... next update should have replaced skins for Endermen, zombie and spider ! As well as a bunch of other stuff, like maybe armor and other various items.

Zombies will end up being the zombie guards from Doom. The Endermen could be imps, and shouldnt be too hard, I was working on the arachnotron but I need to redo it, its tricky because they dont have the same shape as a spider... I will prevail.

If the Endermen will be Imps, what will the Skellies be? How about making them Imps then changing the arrows to fireballs. Perhaps the Enderman could be an Arch Vile with their long arms. Could dogs be 4-legged Demons? Without looking, I'm going to venture a guess that your Icon of Sin is probably the largest Portrait? Split it up amongst 2 or 3 smaller ones, then give the Dispenser the lava+peeled back flesh texture :)

Here's a fun idea: Because Chainmail has to be hacked in, make the helmet John Carmack's severed head as an easter-egg :D
