How to use more RAM in Minecraft?
First: go to "Launch options"
Second: use the Minecraft version that you want to use with more RAM.
Then activate JVM arguments.
Final: change the -Xmx1G to -Xmx4G.

I've been working on the chests and other blocks in the past month. They will be released in the upcoming update of the pack (v1.93). That update will be available asap when OptiFine 1.15 releases.
This is what I've currently been doing for the next update:
Chests added
Glass reworked
Modules fixed
GUI background updated
Crafting table reworked
Cauldron added
Signs quality increased
Banners fixed
Shields fixed
Beside these, I will be adding more textures for that update but they are just not ready yet.
But anyway soon the new update of the pack will be available for all formats :)
