Okay. Everyone knows what a rant is. We know what it's like to rant, how people usually rant, and what rants end up attracting. Rants can be found all over PMC, and unfortunately, most end up with a flame war in the comments or a troll trying to attract a flame war. That's why I'm writing a rant on rants. And not only because I really, really want to start ranting on my PMC profile (ranting is actually very entertaining!), but I feel the need to share my opinion with others to get the message out.

Oh, and one more thing! I wanted to start with a clean, classic rant. That means there will be no formatting, no evidence to back me up - just my mind and the keyboard, ready for work! I'll post it as is without proofreading like I always do so I can match up with most other rants you can find on PMC.

Now that I've got that clear with all of you, let's begin!

Alright. First of all, most rants I read are very, very biased, rage-inducing, and involve lots and lots of all-caps paragraphs! If you don't want people to scream their head off at you for showcasing your opinion!!! There's absolutelynothing wrong with, as some say, "telling your mind," but you're not going to get any support or nice comments from people if you let yourself off guard!

If anything, at least warn people that you might rage a bit in your blog post. If you do, people will click away. If they rage in the comments, you can tell them that you warned them and that they should move on! You obviously told them beforehand, so they don't have a right to do what they're doing.

And another thing - four sentences worth of a blog post can't really be considered a rant. That's more of a paragraph. A paragraph that is slightly rage-inducing, but not much. You aren't getting the point across, and it's pretty pointless, actually.

Well, this was a short rant. I'm sorry it was so short, but I'm not very rage-y most of the time. I hope you all enjoyed this nice little post, and I hope to be ranting to you all sometime soon!
