The New Arrival

Before the whole movement which situated all the criminals in the pit of chaos and despair, we lived in our own homelands where we would do what we thought was right in our hearts and was pitted against the odds of the local so called "peacekeepers". Some of us were considered to be delinquents, juveniles, thugs, thieves, rapists; whatever nice word would fit the foot. However, we didn't see it as that. Some of us would be considered vigilantes, heroes, freedom fighters, caretakers, homemakers, just like the average people of the state. However, the means in which we take to provide for our survival would be unjust to the ones who would envy us. Maybe because our means are much quicker than waiting a lifetime for miracles to shine down upon us and then taken from us by the so called peacekeepers. However, if we were to reach out against them, they would have the larger force of numbers and weaponry to take us all away to what fate lies ahead. However, change has come.

Since the proclaimed vigilante, Vinnie, had killed the Commissioner, Ralph Duncan, on what is supposedly a paid political assassination, the governments of the United Nations have been on a hunt for him and his highly trained team of assassins. It's actually the first time I've seen them take anything so seriously involving crime. They began by unleashing large squadrons of police and military forces after them. However, it appeared that that was not even enough to control the menace so they began to hire their own private mercenaries to eradicate them, however, it was inevitably a failure due to it most likely being target practice which the government could also write off as murder between the gunmen. So finally they came to their final conclusion, taking captured criminals and deporting them to Chicago. Fairly a good plan. The criminals would be free to roam about the city, making it their own, but won't be allowed to leave and truly gain freedom unless they have found and eliminated the menace. Simple yet effective. In this, prisoners can live their life freely within the city limits. Anywhere otherwise and they'll be shot and killed without notice and played off as a dangerous escapee. Simple enough and manageable by those whose standard for freedom is set low. Also, the city is what we make of it. We had our own little areas where we can go about as normally and our own little area made specifically so we could fight each other for our money. However, we weren't alone. The mafia had their dogs around the city also looking to collect the bounty for their fallen leader, Alonso, along with the Yakuza who has also suffered a somewhat tragic death of their Japanese leader. Those two along with whatever competitive forces pose a threat and therefore can be viewed as … disposable.

So with all of this you may wonder where I came in. I wasn't like the others. Whereas others came here as captive prisoners, or criminals with evidential crime or to make themselves gods amongst men, or whatever alternative reason, I came here by force and injustice. No will has suspended me to come to this place. No criminal deeds which would be grounds for deportation to such a cesspool. Indeed, after all I've said, I was one of those persons in the beginning who would of viewed those persons as criminals and would walk past their direction without the will to look back. I was foul, angry, illwilled after being sent here. After all, no charges in the book of law yet being acclaimed guilty by the corrupted magistrate and his court of sinister smiles can do something to the average working Joe. The feeling to be betrayed with no evidence of a crime and to hear those mocking words "Don't worry, you will" can do something to a person which fills them with rage and anger beyond suspense but you must keep a cool head as it wasn't the end. So as you hold back that anger, that willing belief that you will find solace in this new life of yours, you know that there is nothing you can do about it except wait as life throws what's ahead of you and accept it.
