Hey guys, it's me. Jcc. Oh look, another post no-one (most likely) will read.
The point of this blog is to ask, Why do you not comment? Ironically, you'll have to comment to answer my question.
It helps us authors when you comment. It helps to know that we did something and real people are looking at it. Comments are almost like batteries. I used to have a post which only had views from internet robots.
Most of the time we authors don't request feedback and other times do. When you get into a position like me (posting good content but never getting feedback on how I can improve), you barely post, nobody sees you and you are yet another one of those members like the level one club (mostly): INACTIVE.
When we see our views number go up, it tells us that it got looked at. And unfortunately this is where most stop. Some might be misclicks. Sometimes we may not have started our submission right, like a wall of text (which is why I've broken up this blog a lot). Language can also be a big factor. Then again, I guess a post is like a book: It has to catch your interest or the book will dust away on the shelf.
Unconciously, each and EVERY one of us wants feedback on our posts. Constructive criticism to positive "Good jobs!", we authors depend on YOU to keep going! You're the fuel in our engines! Want more content? Motivate us by commenting! Tink r spileng ez hurible? Tell us how to improve! I think the member fillpant is a great example. He started out a while back, and his typing skills weren't the best. Now he's typing (near) fluent English.
The way we behave on PMC is mostly dictated by YOU, valued member. Just as a side note, if I made a mistake in this blog or you want me to add, feel free to, *SURPRISE*, Comment it. It's like knowing you can play the computer after you complete your homework. Motivation. It's a big force in life.
Hey, thanks for reading! I almost never ask this, but please do subscribe? It helps more people find my stuff (aka people seeing who you are subbed to and so on)! If I didn't fully impress you, but left an imprint, leave a diamond or a fave. This helps too!
Anyways, peace out,
-jcc.
