Let me just say this first. I do not claim to be the greatest hacker nor did I have a great knowledge of "hacking" before I started stealing Minecraft accounts. In fact I am a regular forum user here and I have simply made this account to protect my identity. So now after hacking over 30 accounts I have retired to help the Minecraft community protect their accounts FROM HACKERS LIKE ME.

So sit back and enjoy as I take you into the mind of a hacker.

Please note the following:

If you thing your account has been stolen and think I have done it, well first off you wont get it back and second just because your account was stolen doesn't mean I stole it.

What Are Hackers

Just a quick history/definition so you know. Thanks locknlol.

...Hacker is a term that was created in the 80's by people who disassembled code to make a piece of software (or hardware) do things it wasn't normally supposed to. The term has nothing to do with what modern uneducated internet/computer users refer to as "hacking" - Crackers is the original term for the now called "Hackers" - the ones stealing and breaking in, or running security audits and purposely (with permission) testing vulnerabilities. Which then further derived into "White Hat" "Black Hat".

Short Version:
Basically a "hacker" is someone who takes advantage of a weakness in a system to steal virtual items and even non virtual items.

Who Hacks and Why?

People who hack aren't usually the people who you would expect. Like I said earlier I am a regular user here on the forums and trusted by many. The point is that anyone could be a hacker, so be careful who you trust.

Some of you may be wondering why someone would want to hack someones account and its not necessarily for the reason one would think. It's not money, not to be mean, but it's for fun... Ok, So some of you may be thinking that's crazy why would anyone want to hack for "fun". I must say I did enjoy stealing these accounts. For me it was puzzle, an adventure and a rush. It also gives you reputation in the "hacker" community. Doesn't mean it's right though.

This doesn't mean that all hackers don't hack for money it's just saying that there is more to it than meets the eye.

How Do you "Hack"

I am not going to tell you step by step how to hack someones Minecraft Account, for that would defeat the purpose of this thread. BUT! I will tell you some things I use to assist in my hacking of account just to open up your eyes a bit. (No I won't tell you the programs I use.)

First I would have to say my greatest tool for hacking is Google. Yep that's right. All I have to do is type your user name in and I can find tons of info on who you are, the servers you've been on, your E-mail (which I can use to find your ip) and anything else you stupidly posted on the internet. I also used things like YouTube and Ask.

How to Protect Your Account

Please note I did not use all of these methods.

o First off choose a complex password with letters, numbers, CAPS & lower case, and when possible symbols.

o Second never use the same password for everything. It is sad that out of 34 accounts only 3 didn't have the same password for everything. I have gotten E-mail accounts, Facebook accounts and anything you can imagine, because of this common mistake.

o Third, don't ever send your .minecraft folder to anyone, especially if your last log in file is located there.

o Fourth, don't give your account information to anyone!

o Fifth, don't make your E-mails recovery questions obvious.
Examples:
'Where do you live' - UK, -US (Yeah these are sad recovery question answers)

o Sixth, Beware of any downloads that are "Cheats", or "SMP HACKS", "Client Mods". It is pretty common to see these viruses used by hackers so be careful what you download.

o Uhh... Seventh, Watch out for imitators. Site's that "look" like the official site. This are called phishing scams. They trick you into thinking they are the official site or an affiliated page and get you to sign in.

I'll add more if they come to me.

Don't Hate

Please do not post flames here. I know it's very tempting to call me a loser for being a FORMER hacker, but remember I have taken my time to help you protect your account.

Don't check remember password when logging in to prevent people from using your "lastlogin" file to steal your account.
