How to: Survive Your First Night

Getting Food
When you start, the first thing in MY mind is usually food. You may want to walk *cough cough RUN* around looking for cows, pigs, and chickens. Remember if you loose all of your health bar, you die. So run fast!
P.S. REMEMBER TO COOK THE FOOD IN A FURNACE USING COAL/CHARCOAL
Sleeping
Find at least 5 sheep and kill them all (you need 3 wool)! Yes, you do have the right to o-o
Mining
You may want to adventure out into the world and look for a small opening in the ground. Walk into it and look for at least 5 coal. It's great if you find iron but on your first night, you shouldn't need to upgrade yet.
Wood
Wood is VERY important in the beggining of your adventure! Try to demolish at least 5 trees on your first day. Wood is used for weapons and tools (iron sword, diamond axe, etc), food (mushroom soup), and even homes! Yes! I said homes! Remember to save some wood for charcoal (incase you cannot find coal)!
Shelter
Shelter is also important! Find a quick mountain and dig into it a 5x5 area for your first night. If you can't find a mountain, dig up some dirt/sand and make a temporary house (should be small). Also remember to make sure it's big enough that when you wake up from your sleep you don't suffocate in a wall :( You don't need to make a REAL home until you feel ready. Just don't stay in that sucky 5x5-area-in-a-mountain too long!
