Day 1

I wake up, lying on the coarse sand of a desert. It is just pass sunrise. I get up, calling for help. After a few minutes, I realize, I am alone. I realize, I need to survive.

I decide the only way I will survive is to get off the desert. I walk for a few hours, finally reaching a forest. I look up, and see the sun, staring down at me. Mid-day. I figure I wont be able to find help for a few hours, so I found it best to find shelter. Since I have no tools, I use my hands, ripping the bark of trees, till I get to a soft spot in the wood. I punch the wood, causing it to break into pieces. I continue doing that, until I have a fairly sized pile of wood.

Evening. The sun is behind me. I start forming a small hut with the planks. I kept it small, since I didn't plan on keeping it for long. The sun started fall behind the horizon.

Night 1

I tried to sleep on the soft wet dirt. Ididn'thave much luck. I simply sat inside my hut, counting the hours until sunrise. After a couple hours, I started feeling hungry, realizing I had no food. I decided to go and look to see if any trees had some fruit I could eat. As I stepped out side of my hut, I hear a groaning noise in the distance. Thinking it was a human I went to check it out.

What stood in front of me, was no human. It was something like I have never seen. It was some sort of mutant beast. It was about as tall as me, but its skin was green, its face covered in scars. It had its arms reached out at me, as if it was trying to grab me. I ran as fast as I could, back to my hut.

Standing in front of my hut, was a green creature. It was a bright green, walked on all fours, with a tall neck. It hissed sharply at me. I tried attacking it, but it dodged my attack. It started hissing loudly. It started flashing. I ran as fast as I could away from it, only to trip on a shrub. I turned, and locked eyes with the creature. It then exploded. My hut destroyed in the blast.

Sharp pieces of wood feel every where, one landing on my right shoulder. I ran as fast as I could, trying to find a safe spot. I saw a cave in the distance. I finally reached it, and entered it. Greeting me was 8 bright red eyes glowing. I ran out of the cave, the eyes following me. It was a huge spider. It was fast, but not fast enough. Finally, I hit a dead end. I decided the only way to get out of there was to kill the spider.

I punched it, knocking it back. It jumped at me, but I dodged, punching one of its eyes. It couldn't see, giving me a chance to kill it. I kicked it, causing its head head to splatter open. I forged what I could of the spider. A few eyes, and some of its web, which I could use as string.

I looked out onto the horizon. The sun was rising.

Day 2

The sky filled with smoke. I walked around trying to find the source. What I saw was one of the green mutant zombies, lying on the ground, burning.

I decided I should grab some supplies, and go find help. I walked around, and eventually I left the forest, and entered some plains. There was a great amount of pigs. I ran towards one, and strangled it to death. I could use the meat as food.

I started walking, and eventually I ended up on a beach. I decided to walk the beach, and see if I could find any light houses for help. After hours of walking, I found no one.

Then, after I decided to give up, I heard a huge explosion noise. I ran towards the sounds origin. What was in front of me, was a huge crater. Standing in the middle, was a man, holding a glimmering Iron Sword, wearing a chest plate. He was covered in blood. I helped him out of the pit. He introduced himself as Jack. He told me to follow him to camp.

After an hour of walking, we reached a small circle of huts, with a large building in the middle.

Night 2

The camp leader, Edan, held a feast in honor of my arrival. He explained that Jack was sent to find supplies for an upcoming rescue mission, and that if I hadn't found him, he could've died in that pit. I asked what the rescue mission was, but Edan said it was classified. After dinner, I was assigned a hut, and was given a field guide, that had records of all materials, plants, and animals in the area. That night, I slept well.

Day 3

Edan, Jack, and a few other members of the camp had left for there rescue mission, leaving me, and a few others, to keep an eye out on camp. After my shift was over, I decided to explore the area. I went down into the mine, to see what there was available. Iron and coal was in heavy numbers. I kept on wandering through the mine, till I hit a cave system. I started walking around, and eventually, I got lost.

I did bring a stone sword and a stone pickaxe with me, just incase. I couldn't see well in the darkness of the cave, but after a while of walking, I saw a light. I walked towards it. It was a lava pool. I slowly backed away, until I walked into something hard. I turned around. It was a skeleton. In the field guide it said skeletons were usually armed with bows. This one was also wearing a gold helmet. I dodged its arrows, and threw my sword at it, causing the sword to get lodged in its ribs. I then lobbed the pickaxe at it, cracking the skull.

I eventually found my way out of the cave system, and onto land. I walked around, and finally, eventually, I found the men sent on the rescue mission. In front of them was a portal.
