12w03a (1.2 Pre-release)

Minecraft 1.2 pre release is out :D there's a jungle biome, you can breed wolves, zombies walk around stuff to get to you D':, you can climb vines when they are on a solid block, dispensers that shoot spawn eggs out spawn the mob (like splash potions) and ladder collision boxes are back :D

IMPORTANT:

To download:

Go to http://mojang.com/2012/01/19/minecraft-snapshot-12w03a/ or http://mojang.com/2012/01/26/minecraft-snapshot-12w04a/

Click client and click save as

Then click (at the saving window) down from Save as type: Zip Files to All Files then save the download as minecraft.jar

In windows:

Go to the start menu and (if it has a searchbar) type run and (if it doesn't) type r to bring up the run window

Type into the run window '%appdata%' (without the 's) and press enter

In the new window find the folder called .minecraft and open it

Open the folder inside called bin.

Rename the current minecraft.jar (the one just called minecraft) to minecraft1.1 or something like that; it doesn't really matter.

Now move the minecraft.jar you just downloaded into the bin folder.

Run Minecraft

Never click force update. It will bring you back to 1.1

Play with ocelots and fireballs.
