The Enderman is really creepy if you successfully get it in water its an easy kill and I think they may drop Enderpearls but i only saw em on creative and im not sure what they do. When they are getting hurt they make the zombie noise.They are a bit taller than most mobs and don't put your cross-hair over it! If you have any knowledge of what the Enderpearl does please Comment!

The enderpearl can be combined with blaze powder to form a eye-of-the-ender. When you throw this eye it will fly to the nearest stronghold, you will have to throw it quite a lot to actualy make it to a stronghold. Once at a stronghold you will come across a end portal room. You will need to add 12 eyes-of-the-ender to the portal to activate it and then you can enter the end dimension!

They also spawn in Ravines and abandoned mines, yogscast did a video about them, they are easy to kill (2 arrows or 2 diamond sword hits) but are extremely fast.

*TIP* make a 1x1 tower and just shoot them, they cant hurt you at all

Well actualy since the 1.0 update, Endermen are now excedinly stronger and teleport when you shoot at them with arrows.
