Hey guys! Amy here. This is my first blog so I want to make it intresting. I want to talk about Minecraft 1.8 for some of you who didn't try out the snapshot or didn't see videos or blogs about it.
So in 1.8 there are these new spawn eggs. Guess what they spawn. Got you're guess ready? They spawn BUNNIES! Turns out I am no longer the only bunny in minecraft. Oh well. Their still adorable, but not as adorable as me, right? Well anyways, they have multiple colors and they just have super springy legs that look like their ready to jump. There is also a very vicious bunny called The Killer Rabbit Of Caerbannog. Their so cute. <3
The next thing that is new is new minerals called Diorite, Andesite and Granite. They come in raw forms and normal forms. They are SOOO gorgeous. I would definently just ask for one more thing out of this mineral, and it's that they create slabs out of it becuase I'd totally use the Diorite slab for a kitchen countertop. I bet it would look super realistic and super beautiful. also maybe Andestite for flooring? Not sure, but i'll think of something and of course share with you my ideas! By the way, Granite is redish color, Diorite is a white color and Andestite is gray.
Also there are slime blocks crafted with 9 slime balls all in the crafting table slots. They can be used for bouncy houses and just, not dying when you fall off a cliff or something. They can also be used for adventure maps, parkour and so much more. I have used them for parkour and it adds a whole new element to parkour, you no longer have to climb up ladders, you can just BOUNCE!! I just adore it and I think its a genius idea, now theres finally a use for slime balls.
There are also new ways to enchant instead of using EXP levels. Theres is a new slot that lets you put in lapis lazuli and then of course you can put you're weapon, tool or amour peice, and it takes the lapis! Brand new use for lapis, and its actually USEFUL, thank you minecraft!
Villagers even farm crops, heres a fast and easy way to make a bread farm. Make a wheat farm and put a farmer villager inside of it. Put another villager on the other side but put hoppers and fences, put two hoppers underneath and two fences above. The farmer with the crops will make bread and toss it at the other one but the fence won't let it, it will fall into the hopper and then voila, fresh bread!! Hope that was helpful, sorry if it wasnt :(
Well this was my first little blog, I will do more of these for updates, builds and other things, and even if you want you can comment or message me and tell me what you'd like me to do, I can even make a pros and cons list. Thanks for reading this, enjoy your day, or the rest of you're day.
