Hello everyone clone1011 here and this is my second blog I hope you enjoy it.
Whenever I want to donate for a server I get a prepaid card from the supermarket with enough money to buy one of the packages on the servers that I play on. Although I have had a bad streak of luck when I donated for two servers both of the servers have closed down because most likely of my preference for smaller/medium servers than bigger ones.
Here are some things to think about before you donate for a sever which are: If it is a small server take caution because they may shutdown or don't donate to a small server if the owner they had recently had upgraded the server like more spaces wait a couple of months to see if the server is stable enough with funds and players that are willing to donate. If you are on a big/medium server they may put sales on for donating which could be a small price off or a major price off the donating package you want. Also if you have recently joined a server never donate straight away or as quickly as possible because if you donate and find out that you don't like the server it could be a problem getting a refund.
Donating packages on servers are good because they offer a range of different packages with different perks getting better each package. If you are on a big/medium server they might have a lot of different packages that include different stuff but most servers will have that the higher packages will have the same perks as the lower packages and more. So if you can't decide just get the one package in your profit range or if there are two packages that are the same amount of money get the one that sounds the best to you.
Here is a bit of a warning if you donate to another server that is in a different country be careful because I donated to a us server and the exchange rate is higher then you have to pay maybe a couple of dollars more or less depending on the exchange rate or charges with the cards you use.
So before donating always think before doing it about the risks of it shutting down and all the other things that could happen.
