This is a pretty simple idea but it's something that I've always though that would improve the 3rd Person View quite a bit.
Most of the times while in 3rd Person it gets a bit hard to see what you're aiming at, specially digging (would be great for Spleef);
The idea is to have an option in the Menu that allows the players to move their camera's position from left to right, within a limit, using a slide bar. This way, the players could still see what's on their sides and now what's right in front of them.

Like I said, it's pretty simple, and probably has been suggested before, but I'd really like to see this happening, I love playing in 3rd Person in most games, but in Minecraft it really annoys me cause the aim is just way too centered...
