Ah..... servers.... Aren't they just peaceful.....
WRONG!
You may join a server and say.... "This server is awesome! No problems, only peace!"
Tell that to the server staff! They have to make sure people follow the rules, they have to fix large amounts of bugs and problems, they have to hire and fire, advertise, and answer tons of questions.
How do I know this you ask? I have been staff on many servers. These problems eventually SHUT DOWN those servers! So you still say what's the big deal about it because you don't have to be staff? Well why don't you watch your favorite server loose their players and shut down. Would you like that? No, you probably wouldn't. Staff isn't all fun and games, even though you can have fun now and then.
So try this: Look for a server that needs staff, and try to help them.

How To Become Staff, Step by Step Instructions
- Ask them how you apply.
- Ask them if they need staff.
- If they say yes, then apply. If they say no, don't annoy them until they ban you. Instead, look for a new server.
- Wait for them to look at the application, don't keep asking them if they looked at it. It's annoying.
- If they accept it, don't start playing around with your commands and break rules or stuff like that. Staff should NEVER break the rules of a server. Just start helping people or the server, because staff isn't about fun. But yes you can have fun now and then.
