Tips to Popularity

Why hello there! Think this is just some stupid advice, the usual noob's guide, etc.? Yeah, same intro I guess too. Well before you turn down this blog, at least read a few of my tips. They may help you, and possibly some of you new Planetminecrafters out there! Here's some tips below.

  • Tip #1: Start out small. This should be the easiest tip. Join the chat room as a start. Get to know some people. Befriend some moderators, advertise some blogs of yours, answer people's questions nicely, etc. Everyone likes a nice guy, not a wise guy!
  • Tip #2: Make some projects, blogs, and other work. Feel like starting a server? Stay safe and hide your IP with No-IP! Post it on the site, advertise in the chat or forums, hire some staff, etc. Creating a blog would be a great start. You may look at other blogs, or mine, for some ideas. If you want to copy an idea, give them credit. Don't gain bad records on your moderation!
  • Tip #3: Create some social forum posts where others can share stories, or other things.
  • Tip #4: Gaining levels will give you a better first-impression with others. Don't show off your levels, let them find them out yourself. Bragging is never a good idea. Gain levels by posting projects and receiving views/diamonds.
  • Tip #5: Have a sense of humor! Add some comedy within your work posts, or enjoy the chat lobby! Make sure your jokes are appropriate, though.
  • Tip #6: If you see someone bullying another person, ask them to stop. If they don't, you may hang out with the person being bullied by inviting him to another chat room or to your server. Get to know him/her before inviting him to your server, otherwise he/she will think your just using them.
  • Tip #7: Always have a positive attitude and self-esteem! Ignore anybody trying to be rude to you. Keep a good amount of maturity to prevent this.
  • Tip #8: Be active on PMC! Keep your work and subscribers updated. Do not be TOO active though, or people will begin to think you are an addict. This can actually lead to addiction, as I, personally, have had previous experience of this.

Hope this helped you! Stay Minecraftin'!
