As the dark pelted beast ran, it's banner swaying behind it, the nightmare seemed to be coming closer.
While the beast galloped across the wasteland, gasping for breath with every step, his eyes glowed a dark green.
His optics scanned the blurred world around him.
The glowing pale moon, ever so faithfully watched the beast from above.
He halted at the edge of a large cliff, and stood for a very short amount of time. Catching his breath. He trotted up to the edge. Looking down, at the murky waterfall below him.
The beast turned around. And stepped back. Falling.
He was plummeting, so the dark creature forced his muzzle up at the sky, and unfolded his soft, white wings. Jerking him upwards with the catch of the wind current.
This, is Aether, and he, is flying.
Hey guys, as you know, I'm currently taking a break from Zoe. I've had an urge to continue writing. So, I thought up a small section from a story I created, and I wanted to know if you all would like me to post this as a story w/ chapters.
I know not all of you will enjoy this one, or even Zoe, but I've put lots of thought into both of them.
I would love to receive feedback on this. cx
