This happens because the internet is mostly anonymous. You can't tell a mature kid from an immature griefer. Because a majority of younger kids tend to be trolls, then we have to assume they all are.

it's not really age discrimination, it's more the broader topic of steriotyping. honestly, steriotypes were created for a reason. if i were to say, "fireman" you would probably think of some buff guy in fireman apparel as those are the connotations that come with the word. you can't simply stop people from associating words with certain ideas, and in the case of ageism, children don't have fully developed brains so of course they are going to be immature. there is though quite a large variation to when each child's brain develops and therefore some seem to be more mature than others.

Overall i see no point in even telling someone your age. let them guess, because if you are mature for your age, it will show and there will be absolutely no age related discrimination :)

I agree, It would only be descrimination if we were never once that age. Thats why there is race descrimination. Even tho their shouldent be. You just gotta understand we were all that age once, and if not, we will be.

The problem at hand is that children think they can get away with whatever they want. Yeah, that's what today's parents are turniong into; letting children get away with whatever they want and not disciplining them. Otherwise, most people are illiterate, especially on the internet. Just look at Your Grammar Sucks, it's a prime example, and you'd be amazed how many people that are teachers and play Minecraft. Hell, some of them even teach grammar, so it'd be no surprise to see their students correcting others. That or they're being ass holes. People do that, and they also act childish too. So yeah, (puts up flame shield).

I don't really think it is appropriate to compare a little girl taking a bullet to the head, to someone calling a  griefer a immature 10 year old. If anything, it is insulting. Taking a bullet like that is a lot more than just "maturity." Really and actually, this isn't even age discrimination. It's stereotyping.
