Today I was back on The Dutch server Hauted Network.
I asked some random people a few questions about minecraft 1.9.

What do you think of minecraft 1.9?
It seems to me a super update with lots of nice new things.
Have you already tried the 1.9 snapshot?
No, unfortunately not.
What do you think that is missing to minecraft?
I want to see wild animals, which is also in it really exist. Now you have only farm animals but animals like tigers, snakes and bears would become very nice.
What things come in 1.9 you will find good?
New food, because it is now best to get tricky and new food is just funny.
And what things you will find bad?
Actually Nothing :)

They should add that you can do different slabs on each other! And they should improve the NPC villages.

The cooldown at pvp. Everything else is okay.

I'm actually fine with the more controversal changes in 1.9 such as the combat cooldown and the armor, strength, sharpness, protection, and notch apple nerfs. I feel like it adds a little more challenge to the game as it was sort of ez pz before.
The only thing I don't like about the update are *shudders* the new boats. If anything, they're a downgrade. The controls are too wacky as they were ported from Pocket Edition and you really can't have much fun with boats anymore unlike previous versions where you could ride them off high places and try to land in the water. Now, boats just drop like anvils when you ride them off a cliff and that's no fun. The only real issues with boats before were that they broke upon impact and that they launched off in another direction upon dismounting. They only needed to FIX the boats, not redo them only to RUIN them further.
