“Easy boys, I was saving this one for myself.”
The strong, smarmy voice was one that Steve could never forget. Herobrine. Steve turned slowly. Stunned.
“What’s the matter? Aren’t you happy to see me?” the confident figure chuckled. “You know what boys? You have your turn.”
Steve unfroze, looked to his pickaxe and threw it towards the zombie’s head. It spun like a mill wheel until the pick lodged itself into the zombie’s mushy skull, causing it to fall to the floor. As the spider was mid-leap and about to sink its teeth into Steve’s luscious skin, he quickly lugged his arm back and punched the spider. The power of the punch was enough to make the spider scuttle away.
Disappointed, Herobrine drew a shiny diamond sword.
“You never were one for fair fights,” Steve muttered.
As Herobrine was about to strike, Steve jumped back and pushed Herobrine, causing him to drop his weapon. Trying to stop himself from falling he stumbed backwards, falling close to the lava. Steve picked up the sword and walked up to Herobrine. He raised the sword as high as he could and drove it down into Herobrine’s gut as he pleaded for his life.
Steve then confidently placed his foot on the head of the zombie he killed earlier, and hauled the pickaxe from its skull. He approached the stubborn gold ore and delivered one final blow, leaving the cave and leaving herobrine to suffer.
