Look at the big people, like level 40 onwards, they are big not only for the amazing skins, projects, texture packs, mods, e.g.
They are partially big for the weaker stuff, because the viewers give them diamonds for something mediocre, Look at the level of some of the skins, a level 50 had a bad skin, and compare that to a mediocre skin made by a level 10, the level 50 person automatically gets more diamonds, more views, more downloads and more favourites.
I've seen some amazing skins, from many different levelled people, but all are great, but no matter what, it will depend on your level, regardless of just about any detail, why? Because the viewer automatically thinks the level 50 must be better in every way than the level 10, now this is just for people who focus on one type of uploads (skins/projects/texture packs).
Now for an example, if I was a level 50, would you rather check out any and all of my submissions, rather than what my level actually is.
It does also relate to skins that are of popular things, take things like Five Nights At Freddy's or a popular anime, people search them up, rather than looking at uploads that are unique, in terms of ideas and so forth. Which is why a Freddy Fazbear skin would most likely get a couple to loads more diamonds and comments to something like a skin about a miner, the quality in the end doesn’t always matter to many people, it only seems to matter about the level of the uploader, which is not what PMC is about. PMC is about sharing your talents to everyone else, not getting praise for doing a bad skin.
My point to you, the viewer is that you shouldn’t just give diamonds and downloads to anyone, only the ones which you actually like, not just to boost someone for a really bad and pointless effort they did on something.

Even if you think that you'd rather check out high level members, you can't claim that someone else does the same thing.
When you claim things, you have to provide sources and prove.
So next time you actually talk about a topic like the behavior of the community on the website, ask a wide range of people on their opinion on a topic or prove something with science. (aka. Psychology).
Also, that'd end up adding some fancy statistics=extra content to a blog, which isn't a bad thing obviously.
Then again I usually stay in the Projects section. I rarely ever go to the skins section.
