Don't be afraid to try new things. Experiment. Even if you don't end up sticking to it.
You're art will rarely be how you want it to. You will rarely ever reach your ideal art style, since it will always change. Acknowledge you have limits. If you can't draw exactly what you have in mind, that's okay. If you aren't where you want to be, that's okay. You can still make art while you're at it.
That's the best I got. Honestly, I'm not the best to come to for advice. I don't really push myself to improve like other people do. Not the best role model here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
