Banning

Ok, here's the story. I was talking to some of my friends on this server, and this one guy kept clearing everyones inventory, so I gave them items since I was moderator. Turns out, the one clearing out others inventory didn't like that. I was invisibal, so no one could see me, and i witnessed him TNTing my houses. It started out with one house I had no problem rebuilding, but then he blew up the best house i ever built. That's when I banned him. I started to type /ban KinkBinkesPro, but I kept thinking is this the right thing to do? Griefing was not allowed on the server so I banned him! Afterwards, I was shaking. Then I told a few people, and KinkBikesPro, fixed up all of the maps, plugins and stuff. But, I showed them the damage, and they said "Wow" or "Holy Cow".
